We have been informed that the Chevron Station in Alturas will fill up campers with fresh water tanks for a reasonable fee. They also have a dump station. This would be for people coming into town empty of water and/or in need of dumping before coming to the field. The Nationals will also have service at the trial site later in the week.
Finals Programs are here (lots of color and slow to load-but worth the wait)!

The field has been chosen for the 2015 Finals! It is at the beautiful York AngusRanch, 6578 County Road 58, Alturas, CA. We thank them for allowing us to have this event on their property. Photos will be coming shortly. It is a large, sloping, irrigated grass field with some terrain.
The 2015 National Sheepdog Finals will once again be held on the west coast — this time in Alturas, CA September 21-26, 2015. This exciting event has previously been held in the Klamath Falls area in 1997, 2001, 2006, 2009 and 2012. This is the ‘Olympics’ of sheepdog trialing where you will see the best of the best dogs and handlers from across North America compete for the coveted title of National Champion.
The top 150 dogs from all across North America will compete over 6 days to select the best dog in North America. In addition, the top Nursery dogs (dogs under 3 years of age) will be competing on an adjacent field for the title of Nursery Champion.
In addition to the sheepdog trial, there will be many other activities including cow dog demonstrations, spinning and weaving, a western trade show and entertainment.
